Distinguished Service Cross
Amount: 1
Medal Description: The Distinguished Service Cross is presented for superior heroism in battle against another player.
On October 18th of this year 1721, Captain Lord Joseph Fletcher did lead a small squadron of captains in our squadron to a victory against some pirates just off of Belize. The victory was bloody as we lost three ships but the pirates squadron lost four and I believe this was due to the leaderships of Lord Fletcher as much as to anything else. He also took his ships, HMS Bude, into harm's way to protect the HMS Ares under my command. If he had not manuevered his ship to protect mine, I believe that my ship would now be at the bottom of the bay and that the battle would have been lost. Lord Fletcher is a tremendous asset tot he squadrona nd I am honoured to sail under his command.
Signed by my hand, Captain Sir Roderick Morrow
(OOC: After watching the battle video provided by Mr. McAvoy I believe that Lord Fletcher deserves a medal for his leaderhsip during the fight. You can hear that he was calma nd decisive in giving his orders and he gave me a block that saved my ship and the battle as well.)

Award Time: 05 Nov 2008, 19:09 Awarded by: Virgil Kyle
Award Reason:
My fellow officers,
Since the launch of the new SGS website and forums, I have continually been impressed with Lord Fletcher's constant dedication to improving and enhancing both of them on a regular basis. Rather than sit on his laurels after the impressive achievement of designing and launching both of these projects, he has instead chosen to focus on making them ever better and more funtional. His tireless work on the squadron's out-of-game organizational infrastructure exhibits a superior level of service, and he is thus wholly deserving of a commendation, in this humble officer's opinion.
I hereby recommend that Lord Joseph Fletcher receive a Governor's Commendation for his service to the squadron. He deserves it!
Parliamentary Commendation
Amount: 1
Medal Description: A Parliamentary Commendation the is a letter of gratitude from parliament and is awarded for outstanding service out of game.
Award Time: 07 Jul 2009, 09:30 Awarded by: Seth Seaborn
Award Reason:
Honoured Admiralty,
I wish to recommend Sealord Joseph Fletcher for a Parliamentary Commendation. Not for returning to active service as that was his duty for King and Country. But for the enormous work he has put into the improvement of SGS and the Council in the last six weeks. Soetimes even I wondered, if Lord Fletcher sleeped at all. He organized a new Council-Webpage, worked on regulations, helped the Executives and other Senior Officers to reorganize the structure of SGS and showed true leader-skills.
I think it's time to show him our thankfulness for his fantastic work.
