Dear Sirs,
Captain McAvoy has distinguished himself over the last three nights despite losses incurred by him and against great odds. For the past three evenings he has gone out with me and otehr Captains of SGS and allied British societies in attacking and defending against the hated Dons and French. At Puerta del Principe he continued on with myself and other squadron mates at we tried to attack the shipping at that port and were waylaid by pirates, though outnumbered and outgunned, he helped to send a Rat to the bottom before being forced out of the fight with critical damage.
He did the same one night later at D'Lisle as we engaged some Dons of TIS and his Mascedon was damaged first in a 1 v1 and then again as he came in to reinforce us against the Spanish. And again last night defending Puerto Cabezas from the French, he again had nis Macedon heavily damaged by dishonarable pirates.
This kind of sacrafice and tenacity should be rewarded and so I reccommend him for a Military Cross.
Thank you
Sincerely
Captain Sir Roderick Morrow KCMG RN
(OOC: Over those three nights he lost 1 Tigre dura and 3 Macedon dura but kept coming out with me and others to fight. He fights his ship well and I am always glad to have him in a group.)
