Beginning Captain's Profile

New postby John Trowbridge » 14 Jul 2010, 18:31

Yesterday I was interviewed and accepted into the SGS. During the interview I was asked if I was interested in the SGS web-site and I as I am not a tech savy guy I said "no". However, I have since looked more closely at the website and was going to set up my Captain's profile. When I go to my profile I get the following error...

Database error
From Saint George Squadron
Jump to: navigation, search
A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:
(SQL query hidden)
from within function "IndexPager::reallyDoQuery (LogPager)". Database returned error "1146: Table 'stgeo_wiki.tag_summary' doesn't exist (localhost)".

Any ideas as to what I am doing wrong?

That's a new error message.
There hasn't been any work on the wiki recently so I'm not sure what would be causing this. I'll look into it.

Cpt Fletcher,

Sir, I have yet another problem with my Captain's Profile. When I select my name out of the list of officers on the SGS website I am taken to the page that, I think, you created for my profile. However, when I select my "Captain's Profile" from the top of the page after I have logged in it takes me to an entirely defferent page. I prefere the page that was created for me as it lists my Sur name with a capital "T" as opposed to the lowercase "t" of the "Captain's Profile" at the top of the page.

Is there anything that can be done to remidy this delemna?

Respectfully,

Captain John Trowbridge.

You need to add a redirect to the User page. I'll fix that for you tonight and pencil in creating a guide when I get some free time.
